Want a fursuit or character but don’t have any ideas? Or do you have a few ideas in mind, but no idea how to design it? My specialty is character design and I am confident I can design a character for you. I can design natural and realistically-colored characters, or bright and fun toony characters. I can work within my knowledge of existing faux furs to make sure that your character will translate perfectly to fursuit form! Just ask me about character design!

How to Describe What You want For A design
If you are interested in commissioning me for a custom design, it may be important to describe any ideas you have. But not everyone has the words to describe what they want! This section will give you some tools to make describing how you want your character to look much easier.
For example, if you say you want "A blue wolf" - this can mean so many things. There are so many shades of blue, is it light sky blue? Dark navy blue? Bright neon turquoise? If you find that you do not have the language to describe what colors you want used on your character, below you will find some color swatches and names to help you more accurately describe the colors you like. Please note: not all of these colors are available in faux fur to use on a fursuit. I can help you find the closest matching color. Color swatches from Color Thesaurus.

If you're having trouble deciding what colors you want to use on your character, looking at color palettes for inspiration is a great idea. Design-Seeds and ColorPalettes are good places to start (examples below), or try googling "blue color palette", or whatever color you prefer. Again, not all of these colors are available in faux fur to use on a fursuit, but I can help you find the closest matching color.
Moodboards are another great way to help describe how your character might look, without having any artwork done yet. A moodboard is essentially a collection of images that can describe the color palette or "aesthetic" of your character. Below is a moodboard a client sent to me, and the finished design I made using the moodboard and other information they had provided me with (such as species, etc.)
When describing how you want your character's markings to look, breaking up the ideas into simple bullet points based on different parts of the body helps a lot, rather than just describing everything in a big long paragraph. For example:

And the same for the arms, legs, paws, and tail. Breaking it up into simple chunks is much easier for me to read and understand quickly, rather than trying to decipher a long paragraph where everything is described out of order.

- 3 dark blue dots under each eye
- White from muzzle goes down the neck and onto the chest and belly

- Dark blue "V" on the chest, under the chest fluff

Custom Design
The gallery below contains examples of characters I have designed completely from scratch. Clients generally provide the animal's species and a few colors they like, leaving the rest up to me. How much or how little direction you give me is entirely up to you. You can show me real animals or other characters you like the look of, provide a color palette, a mood board, a detailed description, or just tell me to have fun with it! Giving a theme idea will usually result in a more interesting design, for example a "latte-themed fox" VS "a brown fox" - the theme gives stronger visuals & color ideas.
*All of these characters have owners. You cannot order a fursuit of one of these designs unless you are the owner & one who commissioned me for it! Please do not make copies of them! However, asking me to use a certain design as inspiration for a custom one for you is perfectly fine!
