[Revised 09/23/22] I reserve the right to modify this at any time I see fit. By accepting a commission from me you are agreeing to these terms. I reserve the right to refuse a commission from anyone for any reason. I also retain all rights to my artwork and can distribute it as I see fit. Full character rights are retained by the character owner.
PAYMENT
All payments should be in USD, United States Dollars.
I only accept payment through PayPal, with 100% payment up-front.
I will not begin work until the payment has been received.
I only accept commission payment through invoice, please do not send money unprompted.
Payment is expected within one week or less, unless previous arrangements have been made. If you do not send the payment within a few days, I will send a reminder. If one week goes by and I have not heard from you, I will consider the commission canceled. You are free to reapply the next time I open, provided you are able to pay more promptly.
REFUNDS
100% refunds can be given at any time per the client's request if no work has been done on the image.
If the client requests a refund after I started working on the art, they can receive a partial refund (amount depending on the amount of work completed) and the image that has been started.
I will never start working on an image and then force the client to take a partial refund just because I didn't want to work on the project anymore. If I decide to cancel a project, the client will always receive 100% of their money back.
Please contact me if you need a refund for any reason. Do not go through PayPal!
Once the image has been 100% completed and emailed, I can no longer offer a refund, as the customer already has the product. I am happy to make edits if you are unsatisfied with the artwork.
Please contact me if you are unsatisfied, so that I may work with you.
Forced charge-backs are a violation of the terms of service of NeonSlushie.com and will result in you being banned from working with me again in the future. Depending on the circumstances, I may also warn other artists against working with you.
CHANGES
Fursuit references include Work-In-Progress images, which will be sent through Telegram or Email.
The first round of changes after every WIP is free! Please review the image thoroughly and include all changes you want made in one message.
If more changes need to be made after I've already made the free edits, I will charge a small fee of $5 to $10, unless I am at fault for missing something.
If changes need to be made, please let me know! I am happy to work with you to make sure it is perfect. I want everyone to be 100% satisfied with their product.
Changes can be made any time up to 6 months after your reference is completed. After 6 months have passed, I will no longer have your layered files. Small, simple edits may still be possible, but large edits will not be. Please keep this in mind and try to contact me as soon as possible for changes rather than waiting.
AGE
All customers must be at least 18 years of age before sending any payments.
If under 18, a parent or guardian must contact me before I can accept a commission.
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone under the age of 18 for any reason.
USE You May Not:
Trace or recolor my art.
Claim that you drew the art.
Take a character or reference that was not commissioned or purchased by you.
Sell my artwork or make profit from it in any way. (Selling prints, stickers, merchandise, etc.)
Remove my watermark or signature.
Have another artist or yourself edit it without my permission. Please ask before modifying my artwork.
Re-post my artwork without linking back to me! I want people to be able to find my work.
You May:
Upload it to your account on various websites, as long as my name and a link to me are given.
Use the reference you commissioned to order other custom artwork, a fursuit, a plush toy, etc.
Use the image for any personal, non-profit use, such as cropping it for use as an icon, using it as a background on your computer or phone, or printing it out to hang on your wall.
RUSH ORDERS If you need a reference to be done very quickly (for when a fursuit maker is opening, or similar situations), I do accept rush order commissions! This option is only available for Fursuit Reference Sheets, not for other types of artwork. The price is double the price of the reference and it guarantees the art to be completed within 48 hours after payment has been received. If you are interested, just ask!
OTHER
The image will be sent to you via email or telegram upon completion as a high-resolution PNG. Physical copies are not provided for reference commissions. I do not provide the PSD (layered photoshop file) to clients.
If you purchase a custom character design from me, or commission me to draw your existing character, you are still the legal copyright holder of the character. The rights to the artwork itself however, are retained by me, and I reserve the right to post the artwork online in my gallery or social media as an example of my work, unless we have a prior agreement. Asking me to refrain from posting your commission online as a sample or as advertisement may result in an extra privacy fee.
I refuse to work with clients planning to commission DHC for their fursuit, for reasons outlined here.
